ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 20-23 pounds.

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Gabby has really come out of her shell in Homeward Trails playgroups and would probably thrive with another, confident dog in the home.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Gabby met a cat in a foster home and was very respectful.

KNOWN WITH KIDS: We do not know how Gabby is with kids, though she can be nervous around a lot of noise and movement.

KNOWN CUES: Gabby would love a home where she can learn more cues and skills.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: As Gabby feels more comfortable, she prefers free-roaming to being in her crate, though she does have crate experience at the Adoption Center. In a foster home, she didn't have any accidents.

KNOWN LIKES: People who help her navigate the world at her own speed, dog friends to play with, cheese, adorable collars.

KNOWN DISLIKES: Pushy dogs and people.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Gabby was surrendered to a rural shelter partner in Twin County, though we don't know why. She's still learning to feel comfortable with the hustle and bustle of our urban area and is searching for a family who can help her come out of her shell at her own pace. She also learns so much from her canine companions and might love a home with a confident dog friend who could teach her all the fun dog things like walking, cuddling, learning tricks, and how to use her adorable puppy dog eyes to scam treats from humans. When Gabby is feeling confident, she's super-playful with other dogs and regularly instigates play, even with new canine companions. She also hung out with a cat in a foster home without a problem.

Gabby was spayed during her stay at Homeward Trails.
