HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: All dogs assigned to Trails Home Farm are in Delaplane, VA and require an appointment for approved applicants to have a meet and greet.

ABOUT BOWIE: You've heard of Curious George, I'd like you to meet curious Bowie. He loves to poke his little head into spaces just to check things out. Bowie appears to be 100% adorable and possibly 100% American Staffordshire Terrier puppy. He has all the classic markings of a little tank with a big heart.

The great thing about Am Staffs is that they are confident, intelligent, friendly dogs and especially good with children. Bowie is extremely food-motivated and will sit for any snack but has a special fondness for lunch meat and cucumber slices.

Bowie loves to meet new friends, 2-legged and 4-legged, requests to snuggle as much as possible and must have one of his body parts touching you at all times. If you're ready to open your heart and your door to a life-long friend and true companion, Bowie will be your Diamond Dog.

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Bowie is great with other dogs.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Bowie seems very curious about cats. May be ok with dog-savvy cats.

KNOWN COMMANDS: Knows sit and almost has the down, almost.
