-KNOWN DISLIKES: Dahlia is a bit shy in new situations and with strangers.
Dahlia gave birth to a litter of 10 in our care and has been a diligent and loving mama to her babies!
Momma, a petite (20lb) Beagle, is an absolute sweetheart.
Notes from the foster: Dahlia is a gorgeous, sweet little girl and she is just that…little. She is on the smaller side and we still cannot believe she carried 10 healthy babies in her small frame! She is loving her foster siblings and is learning from them to go outside and explore and potty too! She would do great with another friendly dog in the house, but not a necessity. She loves to be outside running around the yard and spends most of her time enjoying the sunshine on the deck when her pups don't need her. She definitely needs a fenced in yard to play in. She currently barks at any small children that have been here but that may be because she is protecting her babies. She has not been around cats. She is a little shy with new faces but once she gets comfortable she is a darling. She already knows her name and we are working on sit. Also very food motivated so would be easy to train! Not a big fan of being locked up…but loves to lay next you you and be pet under her chin and behind her ears.
