-KNOWN WITH DOGS: He is doing great learning from the 3 resident dogs in the home. He is still a young guy with lots to learn but he is ready to join any pack.
-KNOWN WITH CATS: initially curious- but Rockie learned quickly that cats should not be messed with.
-KNOWN WITH KIDS: Rockie is social and playful; sometimes a bit too playful as he entered teething stages. If you are not comfortable with puppies going through teething phase than we would suggest a home with kids 8 and up that can better navigate those learning bits.
-KNOWN CUES:
-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: This is currently a work in progress. He has picked up on the doggy door and is excelling at this house training skills.
-KNOWN LIKES: Chew toys, squeaky toys, toss toys… Rockie approves of them all.

Meet Rockie — professional explorer, part-time opera singer, full-time puppy. 🐾
Rockie is a puppy in every sense of the word: curious, playful, and bursting with personality. If there’s something new to investigate, Rockie will find it. If there’s something exciting to announce, he’ll let you know with his very proud hound howl. He has opinions, stories to tell, and he’s not shy about sharing them.
Like many pups his age, Rockie is deep in the teething phase, so toys are not optional—they are a lifestyle. Chew toys, squeaky toys, toss toys… Rockie approves of them all.
He has settled nicely into foster care and is currently learning the rules of the house from three resident dogs—all distinguished seniors over 12 years old who are patiently teaching him the ways of polite society. Rockie has also learned one very important household rule: the cat is not to be messed with.
Rockie would thrive in an active home where he can run, explore, and continue learning. A canine buddy would be a huge bonus. Because he’s still in the classic mouthy puppy stage, a home with children 8 and older would be a great fit.
