KNOWN WITH DOGS: Gingersnap

Ginger is a beautiful brindle who was born into a litter of 9 adorable pups of Henrietta. Since birth, she has known nothing but love and care from her mom and foster family. She enjoys other dogs and will be happy for a home with or without other dogs.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Pups raised from this age with kitties usually do just fine!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: No direct opportunities with small children as yet, but Ginger has a lovely, laid back but curious personality. She’ll do well with kids of all ages.

KNOWN COMMANDS: Still learning but seems to understand “come” and “sit”.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Ginger is doing really well with house training, currently a combination of pads and going outside.

KNOWN LIKES: Playing, cuddling, napping, eating, getting treats, chewing bones and sticks, and more cuddling.

KNOWN DISLIKES: Not a fan of super loud noises. Does not like being alone.

FOSTER NOTES ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Ginger is a true love bug. She likes nothing more than being with one of her humans, and cuddling. She has been cohabitating beautifully with two adult dogs, quickly and carefully learning dos and don'ts from them. She’s smart, curious, playful, and all-around adorable.

Other than quick trips outside to do her business, she’s not had much opportunity to spend extended time outside as yet, as she is not a big fan of cold and snow. She’s great in the car, and gentle and sweet meeting other people.

She is a champion eater and sleeper, in between periods of play. Ginger will quickly work her way into your heart (and lap) and be a wonderful addition to your family.
