ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 40 pounds.

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Bonnie Bell is a playful, exuberant puppy who loves wrestling and chasing with other dogs who understand that she is still growing and learning.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Bonnie Bell has wanted to play with adult cats in a foster home and will chase them attempting to do so. She's still working on her puppy teething and is working on appropriate mouthiness with her feline friends.

KNOWN WITH KIDS: She loves all humans. Bonnie Bell is a puppy who is teething, so she likes to chew on everything, which could include little hands/fingers and human toys. But this is something she should grow out of soooooon.

KNOWN CUES: She is so smart! Bonnie Bell is learning new words (toy, focus, no, this way, treat, good girl/doggy, gentle, oopsie) and is ignoring distractions

on walks. She is sleeping soundly, knows her name, and comes when called.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: She will whine a bit when left in her crate but then settles down – chew toys keep her very occupied. She is also about 80% housebroken in her foster home. As she is young, she will require ongoing consistency

and boundaries, but she is one smart cookie!

KNOWN LIKES: Playtime, cuddling, sunshine, treats, positive reinforcement.

KNOWN DISLIKES: None know at this time.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Sweet Bonnie Bell came to us from a rural partner shelter in Wise County, having been neglected and longing for love. She is now ready to be a full member of a family and would love an active, playful home. She can be an only dog or would love a playmate. She is VERY friendly and active and playful – a great family member! Her amazing foster has spoiled her with lots of toys that can go with her – we LOVE spoiling this girl.

Bonnie Bell was spayed during her stay at Homeward Trails and treated for "cherry eye" in both eyes.
