Meet Mugs, a Shepherd/Corgi mix who’s full of heart, happiness, and just the right amount of goofy puppy energy! As a tiny newborn, he survived a serious case of parvo that took one of his siblings. After a long recovery, Mugs is finally healthy, thriving, and ready to live the happy life he fought so hard for.

Mugs is the best kind of puppy: playful when you’re ready for action, and a total snuggle bug when you’re ready to chill. He’ll sprint after toys, wrestle with a dog buddy, then curl up next to you for a long, cozy nap. Belly rubs are absolutely required (according to Mugs).

He’s also a little smarty-paws! Mugs is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night like a pro. He’s already mastered "sit" and "down," and he’s excited to keep learning new tricks – especially if there are treats involved. Walks are a brand-new adventure for him, and he’s doing great on a harness while he soaks up all the new sights and smells. Big noises (like the trash truck!) might make him pause, but he recovers quickly with a little encouragement.

Mugs is great with other dogs and children, and he’s super polite about barking – saving it for playtime or when he’s ready for some attention from his favorite people.

From ICU warrior to happy-go-lucky pup, Mugs has already proven he’s full of heart. Now he’s ready to find a forever family to keep his adventures going. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will make you laugh, cuddle you close, and love you endlessly, Mugs is your guy!
